Help the City of Grove City label storm drains for Stormwater Awareness Week 2023.
When it rains, our storm sewer system carries the stormwater to rivers and streams to prevent flooding.
Did you know?
- Water runs into our rivers and streams without treatment or filtration.
- Pollution picked up by rainwater, such as oil, fertilizer, dirt and salt, is the primary cause of water pollution.
Want to help?
Labeling storm drains is a great way to inform the community about the importance of preventing pollutants from entering the stormwater system.
Volunteers meet at the Gantz Park Large Shelter, 2255 Home Road. Labeling materials and safety gear will be provided.
- Tuesday, Oct. 3, 4-6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 7, 8-10 a.m.
