Celebrate Independence Day with a community fireworks display launched from Murfin Fields at 9:50 p.m., Friday, July 2 with simulcast music on Qfm96, WLVQ-96.3 radio. For the safety of all, parking and spectators are not permitted at Murfin Fields, but free parking is available at Grove City High School, Grove City Church of the Nazarene, Windsor Park, and Hayes Intermediate and J.C. Sommer Elementary schools.

Blankets, lawn chairs and most other personal items are permitted. The following are prohibited: grills, alcohol, weapons, personal fireworks including sparklers, skates, bicycles, skateboards, tents and canopies, and pets other than service dogs. Tailgating is prohibited, as are flatbed trailers and recreational vehicles.

Parking is restricted to one side of the street in the following neighborhoods: Briarwood, Hoover Crossing, Martha’s Woods and Clark Drive from 7 to 11:45 p.m.
