Looking for the right fitness program for you, but not sure where to start?

Finding an activity you can stick to can be intimidating. Leave behind concerns about paying for weeks of a program you don’t like or entering an established class as a confused beginner and join Grove City Parks and Recreation for free, drop-in fitness programs.

Fitness in the Park, sponsored by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, offers four different classes with guidance from local instructors each Thursday for seven weeks from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Town Center Park, 3359 Park Street. Choose from dance-inspired exercise with Hip-hop Fitness led by Mike Nicholson and Zumba led by certified instructor Chauntel Horaney, relax your body and mind with yoga led by Amber Philips of Rise Yoga, and use the principles of mixed martial arts with non-contact Body Combat led by Trisha Justice of The Fitness Movement of Grove City.

These free, informal sessions allow you to stop by and view or jump in (and out) as you see fit without obligation. All ages as well as fitness and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Dress to be active, grab a water bottle and stop by!
