Evans Center

Evans Center

The Evans Center promotes independence, physical and mental health, community involvement and social interaction to the 55+ community.

Center happenings range from daily and weekly activities such as exercise and yoga designed for seniors, card and board games, arts and crafts opportunities, and performing arts like chorus and drama. It is home to a variety of parks and recreation classes and the starting point for trips to local restaurants, theaters and shopping destinations.

In addition to recreational activities, the Evans Center provides access to many helpful senior resources by offering support groups, health fairs and screenings, and safety seminars. The Center also shares contact information for service organizations, such as LifeCare Alliance and the Central Ohio Office on Aging.

The Grove City Area Senior Citizen Club works closely with the Evans Center by sponsoring entertainment, refreshments and other supplies. Annual club dues are $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. The club meets the first Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m.

Review upcoming classes and programs in The Source, available online and delivered to Grove City addresses every two months. Additional information can be found in the Evans Center Newsletter.

To register for activities, visit the online registration page, call the Evans Center at 614-277-1060, or stop in 4330 Dudley Ave.
