Inspire your holiday humor with the Evans Center Showstoppers Acting Group at “For Goodness Sake,” an original play by writer and director Tom Cash. Choose from four shows including 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29, Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Thursday, Dec. 1, and 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Evans Center, 4330 Dudley Ave.
During a last-minute check, Santa’s chief elf sees Billy’s name on the naughty list. Billy has a lot to learn about Christmas, but the elf sets things in motion to remedy the situation and teach him the true meaning of the holiday before Santa’s big ride.
The drama club at the Evans Center presents annual productions in June and December. There is no cost to attend, but contributions to the Showstoppers Acting Group are accepted.
Large groups are asked to contact the Evans Center at 614-277-1060 to confirm availability and special accommodations. The Evans Center is home to many activities and services offered to those age 55 and older by the Grove City Parks and Recreation Department.
