Crime Prevention Information

Crime Prevention

Stopping crime before it happens makes for a safer, more enjoyable community. The Grove City Division of Police is dedicated to making crime prevention a top priority. Many programs are available to help educate and deter unlawful activity. The pamphlets below explain some of our crime prevention programs in detail. If you would like more information on these or other prevention programs, e-mail the Crime Prevention Coordinator or contact them by phone at 614-277-1765.

Crime Mapping

In an effort to keep our citizens informed and to solicit information on unsolved crimes, the Grove City Division of Police displays information on criminal activity available through Crime Mapping.

Information on reported crimes over the past 180 days is available on the Crime Mapping web page. Once there, you may enter your address to find out about crime in your neighborhood or view the city as a whole. You may also filter for specific types of crime, such as thefts, burglary, robbery and assaults.

The categories of crimes are broad in definition. For example, incidents in the “assault” category include simple assaults, domestic violence and menacing offenses. If you would like information about a specific incident, complete a Public Records Request or call 614-277-1714.

If you have information about criminal or suspicious activity within the city, please call the Grove City Division of Police at 614-277-1710. You may also leave information on our Anonymous Tip Line at 614-277-1808. The tip line does not collect caller ID information.
