Community Services
In partnership with the South-Western City School District, the Grove City Division of Police school resource officers provide safety and security awareness and training to students and staff, mentoring and assistance to school administrators.
Local elementary and intermediate school students participate in the Grove City Division of Police D.A.R.E. program in the second and fifth grades. Our D.A.R.E. officers also offer the third-grade safety belt program and take part in the Jackson Township Fire Department Safety Town.
One of the more popular programs is Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.), is hosted by the Grove City Division of Police. Monthly meetings are held with seniors to share safety information, answer questions and provide updates on crime prevention and safety awareness.
