Transportation/Access
Ground Travel and Logistics
Grove City is located at the intersection of two of central Ohio’s most travelled corridors, I-71 and I-270.
- This access provides approximately nine miles of freeway frontage and three interchanges offering convenient business and resident access to the region’s transportation network.
- Grove City is located within ten minutes of I-70 and I-670.
- Grove City is conveniently located between Rickenbacker International Airport and Bolton Field and within 17 miles of John Glenn International Airport.
Air Travel and Logistics
- John Glenn International Airport, 17 miles northwest of Grove City, is the region’s leading passenger airport facility serving seven million passengers per year. This facility is home to 11 airlines and their regional affiliates with over 153 daily nonstop flights to 32 destinations. The remaining domestic and major international markets flown out of John Glenn International are accessible through one-stop service.
- Rickenbacker International Airport, less than 14 miles from Grove City, is a first-class cargo airport offering high-speed logistical movement of goods with complementary services and support facilities, including a foreign trade zone.
- Bolton Field Airport, a premier general aviation airport serving corporate and privately owned aircraft, is within five miles of Grove City.
Utilities
Required sewer tap sizes are based on the sizing of the water taps (e.g. if plans require a 2″ waterline you will be required to have a 2″ sewer line). Additionally, the corresponding fees are based on the water tap size.
- The total sewer tap fee is paid to the City of Grove City through the Building Division located within City Hall.
- Funds received through the Building Division will be dispersed to the City of Columbus.
