Administration
Welcome to Grove City, the southern gateway to central Ohio and Ohio Magazine’s central region 2013-2014 and 2016-17 Best Hometown.
As one of central Ohio’s largest and fastest-growing communities, we remain dedicated to providing an incomparable quality of life wrapped in small-town charm. As you enter our historic Town Center you begin to experience our small-town appeal. Our history stays linked to our past much like “The Old Hotel,” built just two years after our community was founded in 1852, remains today now bearing the “Plank’s on Broadway” moniker.
Grove City’s vibrant growth is home to more than 1,200 businesses providing nearly 25,000 employment opportunities. Many of these local, national and international companies are leaders in logistics, research and development, clean manufacturing and business support services.
Our quality of life focus is supported by one of just 12 parks and recreation departments in Ohio to gain full accreditation from the National Recreation and Parks Association. The department provides hundreds of classes and programs annually through a 21 park system spanning more than 320 acres.
If you are seeking a place to visit, live or relocate your business, plan to stop and experience why we are the only central Ohio city to become a three-time Best Hometown Award recipient.
Welcome to our community.
