Approval Process

  • Pre-Submittal Meeting
    • The applicant is strongly encouraged to have a pre-submittal meeting with the Grove City Development Department to discuss the proposed project(s)/improvement(s), ask questions and determine additional documents (such as permits or approvals) needed.
  • TCCR Eligibility Application and required materials
    • The TCCR Eligibility Application is the initially submitted application, which is done before beginning the proposed project(s).
    • To apply, contact the Grove City Development Department or visit the Grove City Development Department Office located at 4035 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 to obtain an application.
      • The application must include photographs of existing conditions, quotes/invoices, a project narrative, renderings of the proposed improvement(s) and any other documentation the Grove City Development Department deems necessary.
      • Once these items are submitted, the Grove City Development Department will determine which projects are eligible for reimbursement.
      • Eligibility of participants and proposed improvements are at the sole discretion of the City.
  • Grant Award Notification
    • Once the TCCR Eligibility Application is approved, the applicant is emailed a Grant Award Notification Letter. Proposed improvements must be completed 180 days from the date of the notification letter.
  • TCCR Reimbursement Application and required materials submitted
    • The TCCR Reimbursement Application is the second application submitted and will be emailed to the applicant along with the Grant Award Notification Letter.
    • Contact the Grove City Development Department or visit the Grove City Development Department Office at 4035 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
      • The application must include all documentation of payment for the project(s)/improvement(s), all necessary permits, photos of the completed project(s) and any other documentation deemed necessary.
  • Funding Released
    • There are two types of fund disbursal:
      • Full reimbursement, which is when all funds are released at one time.
      • Partial reimbursement for applicants who have completed some approved projects and are in the process of completing others. Funds can be disbursed no more than two times per application.
