The State of Ohio requires everyone provide proof of insurance when asked by a law enforcement officer. If you did not provide proof to the officer at the time of your stop, you must bring proof to your court appearance or before you pay your fine. Proof of insurance is required:
On the vehicle you were driving on the date and time you were cited. Failure to provide proof may result in your license being suspended for a minimum of 90 days.
You have the right to appeal if you are found guilty to the Franklin County Municipal Court, pursuant to ORC section 1905.23. You have 10 days (including weekends) from the date of conviction to file an appeal with the Grove City Mayor's Court.
