The Grove City Summer Sizzle Concert Series kicks off Friday, May 27 at 7 p.m. with a Concert for American Heroes performed by the Grove City Community Winds in Grove City Town Center. The concerts take place Friday evenings, featuring two hours of live entertainment and free family-oriented activities.

Featuring a wide array of Grove City and central Ohio musicians, the concert series is sponsored by the Grove City Parks and Recreation Department. The concerts are 7-9 p.m. at the George Edge Music Park on Broadway, on the corner of Park Street and Broadway.

Special concerts are planned for the Heritage Celebration at Fryer Park with a variety of bluegrass including The Corey Hensley Band, Nightflyer and Borderline Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5, performances start at noon each day. Wright Brass of the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight performs patriotic tunes from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, June 17 at Grove City presents Ohio Flags of Honor in Town Center, Park Street and Arbutus Avenue. The annual Homecoming Celebration features Reaganomics, Friday, July 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. in Grove City Town Center.
