Chip in for the Mayor’s Cup Golf Outing Monday, May 8 as we celebrate the annual tradition of community charity at the Pinnacle Golf Club, 1500 Pinnacle Club Drive.

The outing follows a four-player scramble format. Participants tee off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and enjoy 18 holes of golf with a cart, a meal and the opportunity to win door prizes and hole contests. The cost is $450 for a four-player team or $125 per individual to be assigned to a team.

The event, hosted by Grove City Mayor Richard L. “Ike” Stage, benefits LifeCare Alliance’s Meals-on-Wheels program, which provides hot, nutritious food to older adults and chronically ill persons enabling them to maintain their independence.

If you are unable to golf, you may still support the event through a hole sponsorship, event insurance, in-kind or raffle prize contribution, or by making a financial, tax-deductible contribution to benefit LifeCare Alliance.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, April 26. Call the Parks and Recreation Office at 614-277-3050 or stop by the Parks and Recreation office in Kingston Center, 3226 Kingston Ave., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to register or make a donation or sponsorship.
