Grove City’s annual Homecoming Celebration brings stogether generations of Grove City High School alumni, community members, friends and neighbors. Historic Town Center comes alive with laughter and shared memories from 6 to 10:30 p.m., Friday, July 26.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a brief ceremony revealing the recipient of the 2019 Grove City Service Above Self Award. Grove City Rotary members, City officials, family and friends will gather at the George Edge Music Park on Broadway to pay tribute to the recipient, honoring a lifetime of contributions made to our community.

Musical entertainment featuring RockHouse livens up the evening from 7 to 10 p.m., with a mix of favorites from the 1980s. The annual Alumni Tournament Hall of Fame induction ceremony, by tournament coordinator Eric Saxton, takes place during the band’s intermission.

A variety of food trucks and Town Center restaurants offer concessions during the event.

Watch or participate in the 12th annual Homecoming Cornhole Tournament from 6 to 8 p.m., hosted by City Council member Ted Berry. Registration is $40 per two-person team, with a first-place prize of $200 and $100 for second place. Proceeds benefit Breck Community Park.
