Registration for Grove City Parks and Recreation Department fall youth baseball is open during the month of June. Interested participants may sign up at Kingston Center, 3226 Kingston Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, June 30.
The office will be open until 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 27.
Children ages 5 through 17 are eligible to participate. Age determination is based on the player’s age on Aug. 31, 2017, if born Sept. 1, 2005 or later; April 30, 2017, if born Aug. 31, 2005 or earlier. Fees for residents of Grove City or Jackson Township are $38 per player for T-ball through Minor 7-8; $58 for Minor 9-10 through Big League. Fee includes a hat, socks and T-shirt.
Participants who reside outside the city/township corporate limits are eligible to play, but are required to pay an additional $10 non-resident fee.
Bring full payment fee as well as proof of Grove City residency (i.e. current utility bill, current check stub, bank statement), if appropriate. Be prepared to choose a shirt size and provide emergency contact information. The registration form must be signed by a legal guardian. First-time baseball registrants must bring the participant’s birth certificate.
Practices begin Monday, Aug. 7, and opening day for the 10-game season is Saturday, Aug. 19. Games are held at Windsor Park, 4330 Dudley Avenue/4408 Broadway.

Volunteer coaches are needed; download the application or visit the Parks and Recreation office in the Kingston Center to pick one up. Paid umpire positions are also available.
