Anticipation is growing for the 18th annual Gardens at Gantz Symposium, “A Kick Start to Spring Thyme,” from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 18 at the Evans Center, 4330 Dudley Ave.

Listen to several featured speakers including Lily Shahar Kunning, herbalist from Boline Apothecary, sharing how to create a medicinal herb garden; Jennifer R. Bartley, landscape architect and author, presenting “Food and Flowers Everyday”; Pamela J. Bennett, horticulture educator and state master gardener coordinator for the Ohio State University Extension, instructing on top performing, low maintenance annuals; and Karen Langan helping you get to know the best herbs for a sensory experience.

The Gardens at Gantz Symposium is sponsored by the Gardens at Gantz Farm Volunteers. A lunch featuring herbal dishes will be served and vendors will be on hand offering herbal and garden products for sale. The $45 program cost includes course materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
