All young ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses are invited to bring their families and visit historic Grove City Town Center for family-friendly Halloween fun from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Join Grove City Parks and Recreation for Boo Off Broadway, where trick-or-treaters show off their creative costumes and gather goodies from participating local businesses and civic organizations in the south area of the Promenade near Park Street, west of Broadway. The focus is a safe holiday experience for youngsters.
Friends and neighbors can gather to watch a pumpkin carver sculpt and whittle real pumpkins into awesome masterpieces; visitors can enjoy a variety of pre-carved pumpkins on the stage at the George Edge Music Park on Broadway.
If your organization is interested in participating, please complete the Boo on Broadway table reservation. Questions? Please contact the Grove City Parks and Recreation office at 614-277-3050. There is limited space, so reserve your table early.
Those who prefer the traditional Trick-or-Treat experience can go door-to-door also from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31. Residents who choose to distribute treats should turn on their porch lights during these hours. Drivers are encouraged to watch for young pedestrians unaccustomed to traveling at night and to use extra care on neighborhood streets.
