Grove City Parks and Recreation offers late summer-fall leagues for adults in slow pitch softball that play one day per week featuring a pitch count instead of the one-pitch format used in most fall leagues.
Rgister by team in the Parks and Recreation office in the Kingston Center, 3226 Kingston Ave., during July from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Fall slow-pitch softball leagues are available for men’s and co-rec teams at competitive and recreational levels with men’s leagues playing Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays; and co-rec leagues playing Fridays or Sundays. The registration fee is $290 per team for an eight-game season that begins the week of Aug. 7. Sunday leagues play at Fryer Park, 3899 Orders Road, and weekday leagues play under the lights at Windsor Park, 4330 Dudley Ave.
