Grove City Parks and Recreation is registering participants for fall indoor youth volleyball leagues through Thursday, Aug. 31. Registration must be completed in person between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Kingston Center, 3226 Kingston Ave. Participants register as individuals and are assigned to a team.
Leagues are available for grades three through 12 in the following five divisions: junior (grades 3-4), intermediate 5-6 (grades 5-6), middle (grades 7-8) and senior (grades 9-12). Practice starts the third week of September for the junior division, early October for all others. Games begin in late October with an eight-match season followed by a tournament. The cost is $60 per player, $65 for non-residents, and includes a team T-shirt. Girls and boys compete together. Registration forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Volunteer coaches are needed. If interested, complete a Youth Coach Application and return it to the Grove City Parks and Recreation office.
