The Big Splash

The Big Splash, is a seasonal, municipal, family aquatic facility open to residents and guests of residents. Grove City’s renowned water park features a large zero-depth entrance, interactive water toys, two large body slides, a leisure pool and two aquatic climbing walls. Patrons also enjoy green space and lounge chairs.

Proof of residency required for day pass purchase. Determine if you are a Grove City or Jackson Township resident by visiting the Franklin County Auditor website. Resident parcel ID numbers start with 040 or 160.

2020 Swim Season

COVID-19 Update | April 29

The safety of the community remains the priority of the City of Grove City. The dates and times of operation and available features (lounge chairs, climbing walls, etc.) will reflect this priority as Grove City Parks and Recreation continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic with an abundance of caution and to follow directives from local and state health officials.

Big Splash policies for 2020:

  • An opening date is not yet determined; it is possible the facility will not open in 2020.
  • No season passes will be sold for the 2020 season.¬†Entry will be by individual day pass purchase.
  • No swim lessons will be offered.
  • All policies are subject to change without warning.

The Big Splash Reminders:

Proof of residency required for day pass purchase.

No refunds given for weather or hygiene closures or for removal due to behavior.

Any child 11 years or younger must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older at all times.

Proper swim attire required: inappropriate cloth can release dye, bacteria and fibers that degrade water quality; metal accents can damage equipment.

No glass containers.

No alcohol.

Please only swim if you are in good health (not experiencing upset stomach, diarrhea or open sores).
