Arts in the Alley
The 34th annual Arts in the Alley Music and Arts Festival is 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22 in Grove City's historic Town Center. Parking and admission are free.
Hosted by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, more than 100 juried exhibitors display and sell fine art, photography, jewelry, crafts, fabric art, glasswork, pottery and wood creations. A variety of musical entertainment also are featured throughout the weekend.
The festival begins with the Arts in the Alley Parade at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The parade steps off at the corner of Southwest Boulevard and Broadway heading south on Broadway, east on Columbus Street and then dispersing at Park Street Intermediate School.
Children can use their imaginations to create free take-home arts and crafts at Kids Fun Street. Food vendors, who are limited to local non-profit and community organizations, supply festival favorites such as chicken and noodles, fried bologna sandwiches, curly fries, funnel cakes and much more.
