Interested in Forming a Neighborhood Watch?
The Grove City Division of Police is hosting a community-wide Neighborhood Watch meeting from 6:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Grove City United Methodist Church, 2684 Columbus St.
If you are interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch in your neighborhood or would like to be a part of an existing neighborhood watch, this is the meeting for you. The Grove City Division of Police Crime Prevention Coordinator is hosting a presentation on how to start a neighborhood watch, how to be proactive at preventing crime and how to recognize and report criminal activity. This is an interactive presentation with plenty of opportunity for questions regarding the program.
At the conclusion of the presentation representatives from 14 established neighborhood watch programs will be available to meet with you.
The Grove City Division of Police will help get you started and support your program with signs and materials.
Interim Police Chief Jeff Pearson and Community Services Bureau Sergeant Rick Hardy will offer resources regarding how Neighborhood Watch groups can build ongoing dialogue and cooperative relationships with the police.
Please join us for this informational meeting. Let’s work together to make Grove City a safe place to live, work and raise our families.
