The National Environmental Education Foundation, National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands including parks, trails and green spaces.

Join REI, Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks and Keep Grove City Beautiful as we celebrate NPLD on Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m.-noon at Scioto Grove Metro Park, 5274-5454 Jackson Pike.

We’ll team up to clean up the REI River Trail. All volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, bring a reusable water bottle and work gloves if you have them. As a volunteer, you will receive a free REI Stewards T-shirt while supplies last.
