Grove City’s Town Center is transformed into destination for spooky fun from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29. This annual, family-friendly alternative to the traditional door-to-door Beggars’ Night allows children to dress in costume and safely collect candy and other goodies from area businesses and civic organizations. This event is held rain or shine.
Affected streets are closed to traffic from 5 to 9 p.m. with parking restrictions in place starting at 3 p.m. These streets are: Broadway from Grant Street to Grove City Road, and Park Street from Arbutus Avenue to the first driveway west of City Hall.
Those who prefer the traditional Beggars’ Night experience can go door-to-door from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29. Residents who choose to distribute treats should turn on their porch lights during this time.
Drivers are encouraged to watch for young pedestrians unaccustomed to traveling at night.
