Implementation

The GroveCity2050 Community Plan was approved to be a long-term guide ensuring that Grove City continues to be a desirable place to live, work, play and invest. City Council’s adoption of the plan was the first step and proceeding with implementation will involve a host of City departments, boards and commissions, non-profits, businesses and citizens. As a result, an Implementation Committee will be formed to oversee the progress in implementing the goals, objectives and actions identified within the plan.

The GroveCity2050 Implementation Committee will be an advisory group responsible for:

  • attending progress meetings with City staff
  • reviewing annual reports on plan implementation
  • reviewing and making recommendations on proposed amendments to the GroveCity2050 Community Plan
  • promoting community awareness of planning efforts

Who will serve? A group of 10-15 members will be selected through a public application process and will be representative of Grove City’s population. Applications will be made available both online and for pickup at City Hall.
