The Division of Police is broken into two operational sub-divisions,
Field Services and Support Services, which report to the Captain of the division, who reports to the Chief of Police.
Field Services has the Patrol Bureau who are the first responders of the agency. Major functions within this bureau are Patrol Operations,
Bike Patrol, Strategic Response Team (SRT) and Traffic Crash Investigations.
Support Services is broken into three operational bureaus. Communications receives calls for service and dispatches police, fire and EMS services,
as well as maintains agency records. The Investigative Bureau is responsible for Criminal Investigations, Intelligence, Property Room and Court Liaison
Services. The Youth Services Bureau is responsible for D.A.R.E., School Resource Officers, Youth Diversion Programs and Community Relations.
