The City of Grove City Economic Development Department is excited to contribute to what this growing community has to offer. Whether a new business is interested in establishing itself or an existing business is interested in expanding, the City offers technical and financial tools, resources and assistance to all. We promote economic development, facilitate redevelopment and provide business retention services. Long-range planning activities for Grove City include: evaluating current conditions, identifying trends, the analyzing of future issues and opportunities and aiding in planning to achieve its goals for the future.

Located less than 10 miles southwest of Ohio's capital, Grove City offers residents the opportunity to experience the flare and feeling of big city living while providing all of the comforts and conveniences of small town life. While our geography and easy accessibility provide many dining, shopping and entertainment advantages to our residents, those same geographical and accessibility advantages benefit businesses. Grove City is located within a day's drive of 51 percent of the U.S. and 40 percent of the Canadian populations and within 600 miles of 53 percent of all U.S. manufacturing facilities. With Grove City's business-friendly environment, our community has seen continuous growth of business and employment opportunities and due partly to competitively lower costs for business and residence have ensured a promising future for Grove City.
