2008 Health and Fitness Week and Healthy Ohio Fitness Walk
Wednesday, May 21
The Grove City YMCA, Grove City Parks and Recreation Department and Berger Health would like to invite all community members to participate in Grove City's Health and Fitness week by participating in Ohio's fourth statewide "Healthy Ohio Fitness Walk".
The fitness walk will take place at noon on Wednesday, May 21 at Fryer Park on Orders Rd. The challenge to all Ohioans is to collectively walk one hundred thousand miles this day! Let's do our part as a community and participate in a 20-minute, one-mile walk to help reach this goal! The first 500 participants will receive a free pedometer, courtesy of Berger Health, and healthy refreshments! If you can not join us at this event, but would still like to participate, just walk where you are any time this week and log your miles at the Grove City YMCA located at 3600 Orders Rd. You can help Grove City become a fit community.
